Threshold of the Unwritten explores the moment where language reaches its limit and gives way to silence. Constructed entirely through handwritten words, the work transforms
writing from a vehicle of communication into a visual architecture of memory, identity, and spiritual reflection.
Two intersecting circular forms evoke dialogue rather than opposition: presence and absence, self and other, earth and sky. Between them, a vibrant blue passage emerges as asymbolic threshold—a place where thought, emotion, and transcendence briefly converge. The empty white circle is not a void, but a space of possibility, inviting the viewer to
complete the work through personal contemplation.
Rather than illustrating a fixed narrative, the piece proposes that every written word carries both meaning and mystery. As the text dissolves into form, reading becomes seeing,
and seeing becomes an act of meditation.
This work is part of an ongoing practice in which I “draw with words,” allowing language to become both image and experience. It reflects my belief that the most profound
conversations often begin where words themselves become silent.
