RAi aims to foster artistic mobility by offering a diverse range of opportunities such as exhibitions, presentations, residencies, short-term fellowships, and teaching-learning modules. These initiatives are designed to address the specific needs and strengths of the artistic community in the Global South while tackling the challenges they face. By facilitating mobility, the RAi Programmes enable artists to connect, collaborate, and respond to contemporary issues, including social and environmental concerns, using new mediums and materials.

Through partnerships with arts and culture organizations, museums, and educational institutions, the programs promote trans-disciplinary collaborations, learning, and long-term networking. Moreover, the RAi Programmes actively engage with private and corporate sponsors to encourage art support and philanthropy in the region, bringing contemporary art closer to audiences through a variety of year-round initiatives.
