Diary July 2026 approaches drawing as a daily practice akin to keeping a visual journal. Spanning the month of July, each page represents a single day, forming a visual record of the thoughts, images, and associations that emerge throughout that day's experience.
The artist fills each page with spontaneous, intuitive drawings, allowing ideas to unfold freely without a predetermined composition or narrative. Everyday objects, mythical creatures, plants, animals, flowers, geometric forms, celestial bodies, and other symbolic elements coexist on the page, guided solely by the flow of thought at the moment of drawing.
As the month progresses, the artist occasionally returns to earlier pages, not to complete them in a conventional sense, but to rediscover and transform them. With each revisit, the drawings evolve into something subtly different while still retaining traces of their original form.
This process echoes the nature of memory and dreams. Much like dreams that seem familiar upon waking yet reveal unexpected differences when closely recalled, these drawings continually shift through repetition and return. The diary ultimately becomes a living archive—not of the events of summer, but of the movement of imagination, the fluidity of memory, and the mind's ongoing act of reimagining the world, one day at a time.
