    Limited Edition Fine Art Prints

In celebration of Ramadan, Rizq Art Initiative presents an exclusive signed limited edition of Suhail by Karine Roche.

Released in a strictly limited edition of 100, each print is individually signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

These prints are conceived for those who value cultural resonance, architectural dialogue, and enduring symbolism within contemporary practice. Each print carries the quiet luminosity of the original work — a reflection on guidance, heritage, and coexistence — themes that resonate deeply during the month of reflection and gathering.

  • Suhail is the star that once guided pearl divers and set the rhythm of life in the desert. It is deeply anchored in heritage and everyday life.
This painting draws inspiration from the architectural lines of the Natural History Museum and the Sheikh Zayed National Museum. The former is intimately connected to the earth and human history, while the latter embodies the national heritage of the UAE. Together, they create a dialogue between tradition and modernity, linking the roots of the past to contemporary life.

The composition also incorporates the architectural lines of the mosque within the Abrahamic Family House, whose location and symbolism make it a powerful representation of tolerance and coexistence. Arabesque elements are woven throughout the work, echoing Arabic culture and ornamentation. The date palm introduces a vertical rhythm, visually connecting the entire composition, while highlighting its deep natural and cultural significance in the UAE.

In this piece from the Drafts series (2025), Akil Ahmad translates the auditory ecstasy of Arabic musical "Maqams" into a vibrant optical language. The composition features rhythmic, fluid calligraphy in black and white that dances across a background transitioning from a celestial blue to an earthy rust-colored horizon. At the center, a luminous gold leaf element anchors the movement, serving as a focal point for the intellectual and philosophical depth Ahmad finds within the Arabic letter.

What distinguishes this specific edition of 25 is its unique sculptural format, developed by Rizq Art Initiative. The metal substrate has been physically manipulated and contoured, giving the artwork a three-dimensional, wave-like presence. This tactile form reflects Ahmad’s modern search for a language that captures the fleeting moments of sound, transforming mixed media on metal into a dynamic, "frozen" melody
